There is a lack of evidence about the possible role of the family environment in the occurrence of the bullying phenomenon among school-age children. We carried out a systematic review of the literature to investigate the positive and negative family determinants associated with the bullying phenomenon. Potential classes of determinants - e.g. interparental conflict and/or parenting behaviours - were studied by searching peer-reviewed literature published between the January 2008 and December 2018 on PubMed/MEDLINE, SCOPUS and ISI Web of Science. Ortokeratoloģijas pielietojums miopijas progresēšanas kontrolei skolas vecuma bērniem

Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 36 lapām. Tas satur 25 attēlus, 1 tabulu un 20 literatūras avotus. Pētījuma mērķis ir nodemonstrēt, Ortho-K lēcu lietošana var palēlināt miopijas progresēšanu skolas vecuma bērniem, kuriem ir miopija. Pētījumā piedalījās 28 bērni (vidējais vecums 10 ± 2 gadi) ar vidējo miopijas lielumu -3,15 D ± 1,43 D (astigmātisms mazāks par 1,00 D) ārstēšanas sākumā. Miopijas progresēšana tika novērota vienu gadu pirms Ortho-K lēcu lietošanas un 3 gadus, lietojot Ortho-K lēcas. Abstract In children, intensive near-work affects the accommodation system of the eye. Younger children, due to anatomical parameters, read at smaller distance than older children and we can expect that the accommodation system of younger can be affected more than that of older children. We wanted to test this hypothesis. Some authors showed that the norms of amplitude of accommodation (AA) developed by Hofstetter (1950) not always could be applied for children. Matemaattisten taitojen kehitys on luonteeltaan kasaantuvaa: aikaisempi osaaminen helpottaa uuden oppimista ja tasoerot matematiikan taidoissa lasten välillä kasvavat koulunkäynnin edetessä. Matematiikan osalta alkuopetus näyttäisikin hyödyttävän eniten taidoiltaan edistyneimpiä lapsia – taitotasoltaan heikommat lapset jäävät samalla jälkeen.
